GOD IS A BLACK WOMAN is an experimental documentary that showcases the journey of eleven Black women in their realization of the divinity of self. Through a sequence of tableaux and visual artistry, the audience is invited to an inside look at the triumphs and tragedies that have impacted the way in which black women dissect sanctitude. Their ruminations are showcased through imagery, interviews, dance, and poetry - proving that no one story is the same. However, in each story, we can learn the ways in which we are interconnected.
